Airstairs
Consisting
of four main components (the forward rail assembly,
the aft rail assembly, the electrical installations,
and the airstair assembly), Monogram Systems unique
folding passenger stair is unmatched in the industry.
The airstair is installed below the cabin
floor at the forward entry door of the aircraft.
A continuous handrail is provided on both sides
of the airstair, from the ground to the airplane.
The airstair also includes automatic tread lights for passenger convenience.
The electrical installation consists of two motors.
One to operate with AC power, and one to operate
with DC power (when AC is not available).
